Grace “Slayer” Falkner is a vampire slayer based in New Orleans, Louisiana. She once belonged to the Night Mavericks, a vampire-hunting group, but was kicked out due to bad decisions caused by alcoholism. She has a strained relationship with her daughter, Lily, who feels abandoned after her mother suddenly disappeared and just as suddenly reappeared in her life. Her old band, The Dead Ringers, was an indie rock band where she was the main singer and guitarist. Grace’s favoured weapon is her trusty sledgehammer, and her drink of choice is Cajun 6 whiskey.
